One Way Lover

An acrylic painting on a canvas board framed. 8”x 10” canvas board. I titled this painting "One Way Lover" to reflect the theme of unreciprocated love. The figure, with their back turned and face partially hidden by a vibrant purple flower, symbolizes the longing and vulnerability of one-sided affection. The flower represents beauty and the hope of connection, while the warm, fiery tones of the background convey the intensity of emotion. Through this piece, I wanted to capture the bittersweet essence of loving someone who may not feel the same, evoking both passion and solitude.
